New Delhi, 04 February 2016: Polaris India introduced the iconic Indian brand of motorcycles in the country in 2014, and the brand has been slowly and steadily making a mark in the niche luxury motorcycle market in India. The company showcased their new range at the Auto Expo 2016 and the two showstoppers included the 2016 Blue Diamond Indian® Roadmaster® and Pearl White Indian® Chief® Classic. Both managed to generate a lot of interest and attracted huge crowds. The rest of the range on display included Indian® Chief Dark Horse®, Indian® Chief® Vintage, Indian® Scout® and Indian® Chieftain®.

The all-new Indian® Roadmaster® and Indian® Chief® Classic are the range topping products from the Indian Motorcycle® portfolio. They epitomize pure American luxury motorcycle touring and were originally manufactured from 1947-1953. The Indian® Roadmaster® comes with premium amenities like Horizon Power Windshield with push-button adjustability to customize airflow, provide weather protection, and reduce glare. It is fitted with keyless ignition, for security and convenience. The rider and passenger seat feature sealed, high-quality desert tan leather for durability, designed to withstand the elements.

The Indian® Chief® Classic is a pure heritage cruiser wrapped in advanced design, engineering and technology. It features iconic styling like balanced fenders, rich genuine leather saddle, classic tank-mounted instrumentation, tear-drop fuel tank design, and sculpted and lighted front fender war bonnet. It comes with a host of premium features including endless chrome, keyless ignition, ABS, cruise control, throttle-by-wire, true dual exhaust, high quality chrome laced spoke wheels, brake caliper covers, cast aluminum frame with integrated air intake, and much more. The Indian® Chief ® Classic is powered by Thunder Stroke 111™ engine that churns out 139 Nm of torque at 2600 rpm. The 49-degree V-Twin engine is the new heart of Indian Motorcycle® and marks the first clean-sheet Indian Motorcycle® engine design in seven decades.

Polaris also showcased its range of ATVs including RZR® XP Turbo, which bagged the pole position at several rallies like Rain Forest Challenge, Ultimate Desert Challenge, and the Polaris Sportsman® 110, a recreational ATV intended for children of 12 years and above under adult supervision.
