Volvo launches the S60 T6 petrol at INR 42.0 lacs
The new S60 was launched at Artemis Cars, Chennai, Volvo’s new 4600 sq.ft. stand-alone showroom with a quintessential Scandinavian decor which exemplifies Volvo’s new policy of “cool on the outside, warm on the inside”.
Tom von Bonsdorff, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India said,”India is one of the fastest growing markets for Volvo. The new S60 has a much sportier demeanour than before, with strong horizontal lines at the front and the back. The car has a more bolstered road presence, and sporty 18″ alloys add to the car’s overall performance-oriented design. Inside, the design is typically Scandinavian, with an uncluttered dash built for easy usability above all else. The quality of materials used is impeccable, and Volvo uses real wood and leather for all trims. the Active Digital display uses an active TFT crystal display to show important driver information at all times.
As with all Volvos, no compromises have been made in the safety department. The S60 comes with a Side Impact Protection System, a Whiplash Protection System, and Air Quality System, which aims to make the air inside the car cleaner than the air outside it. Also available is a unique pocket sized control centre called the Personal Car Communicator (PCC). It holds valuable security information for the owner about the car’s current lock and alarm status, and, when in range (up to 100m), shows if the car is locked, if the alarm is activated or if the alarm has been triggered and whether someone is actually in the car. The PCC also includes keyless entry and keyless drive.
Priced at INR 42.0 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi/ NCR), the Volvo S60 T6 Petrol will be retailed through Volvo dealerships across the country starting today.
