The new Flying Spur: Bentley launches its super premium sedan in India

New Delhi, 01 October 2013: Luxury carmaker Bentley has launched the all new super premium sedan Flying Spur in the Indian market, at an event held at their exclusive dealership in New Delhi.

Based on the Continental GT platform, it is a completely redesigned vehicle and is powered by a 6.0 litre twin turbo W-12 petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 625 PS and 800 Nm of peak torque. It achieves a 0-100 km/h speed in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 322 km/h. Commendable for a vehicle in this segment.

The new Flying Spur is faster and more powerful than its predecessor. According to the company, this is the fastest 4-door luxury sedan in the world. It has an all-wheel drive system and an independent computer-controlled air suspension which makes a smooth ride even smoother. It has a new enhanced cabin technology and higher levels of comfort and refinement that should delight it’s loyal and discerning customers. The interiors are hand crafted and feature redesigned seats trimmed in natural premium leather. The plush soft hide is apparently unique to Bentley and come in twelve colour variants. The seating configuration can be customized to accommodate four or five passengers.

Other creature comforts include a high resolution 8” touch-screen interface, 64gb internal memory, bluetooth connectivity, wi-fi hotspot, satellite navigation, voice activation control, two 10” LCD screens at the rear and a touch screen remote which controls seat heating and ventilation, climate control, multimedia system and almost all other interior functions. 19″ alloys are standard.

The new Bentley Flying Spur delivers a fuel economy of 6.8 km/l, and is priced at IRS 3.10 crore (ex-showroom Delhi). If bespoke luxury is your thing, this one is for you.
